Renowned Singer Dayah Dalnuurshe’s Wife Passes Away in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Celebrated Somali musician Dayah Dalnuurshe is mourning the death of his wife Farhiya Abdirahman Mohamed famously known as “The Boss Lady.

According to sources, the late Farhiya Abdirahman Mohamed passed away early Wednesday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.

Earlier, Dayah Dalnuurshe had taken to his social media platforms to request for prayers from Somali people and her fans for her ailing wife but her condition worsened leading to her death.

Farhiya was known as a vibrant young woman, widely recognized on Somali social media platforms for her energetic and engaging presence.

Somali people including top government personalities and politicians expressed their condolences to the singer and Ms. Farhiya’s family for the loss on various social media platforms.

Her burial is expected to take place in the coming hours, with family members expected to provide further details about her untimely death, which has left many Somali people in mourning.
