“Rescue Ship is Free of Charge” Somali Refugees in Yemen were told
The businessman who charted a rescue ship has reminded Somalis in Yemen that the ship is free of charge and should not pay to anyone under any circumstances.
The Refugee Rescue Committee has also urged relatives of those trapped in Yemen to let their loved ones know the ship has docked the port of Mukallah and ready to start rescue operation.
“People should be informed to gather near the port so that they would not be delay, and if the number is too much for the ship, there would be more trips” said the committee in a brief statement.
According to Goobjoog Journalists Aweys Haji Noor and Mohamed Salat who are on board, the ship is yet to dock the port as it waits space to do so.
