Residents and workers repair Qoryooley general hospital
The general hospital of Qoryooley district in Lower Shabelle region has received no repair since the central government was overthrown.
The residents in the district together with the administration of the hospital managed to refurbish the hospital so as to give room for the continuation of the essential services to the local people in the region.
The director of Qoryooley general hospital Omar Hassan Humar speaking to Goobjoog FM stated that the residents in the region together with the workers of the hospital stood for the revival of the hospital that neared to closure due lack of repair and adequate medical services.
He called the locals and the workers to stand united and double their efforts so as promote the efficiency of the hospital and bring its essential services close to the people in the region.
On the other hand the director of the hospital said there is no support delivered by the federal government and humanitarian aid agencies to desperate people in the region particularly the IDPs affected by waterborne diseases.
