Residents of Ga’al Village Says Ethiopian Troops Burnt Houses

Elders in Ga’al village in Hiran have accused the Ethiopian Somali regional Special Forces known as Liyuu Police of harassment and burning of houses.
The claim which is not yet supported by other sources is not the first of its kind.

In previous cases, the Liyuu was accused of crossing into Somalia border to hunt down detractors.

The government administration of Hiran has yet to comment on this.
