Security forces block major roads Mogadishu

 

Federal security forces have early Monday morning blocked some major roads in the capital Mogadishu.

The motive is yet unclear but heavy security forces were seen in the main roads this morning blocking public transport and private vehicles to use the roads.

Jubba junction, the Unknown Soldier road, Ceelgaabta road and 21 October, are some of the main roads blocked by government soldiers clad in uniforms adorned by Mogadishu Stabilisation force unit which was disbanded by the government early in the year.

Vehicles could be seen stuck on the main roads and many people walking along city roads. Such road blocks have been common in Mogadishu.
