SCAA Rubbishes Claims of Flights Disruptions, Says Operations Are Normal

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has assured the public that all domestic and international flights scheduled for Monday, 2 March 2026, will proceed as planned.

The Authority said in a public notice issued on Sunday, there were no changes affecting internal or external flights across the country.

It emphasized that operations at all airports remain normal.The SCAA also cautioned the public against relying on unverified information circulating on social media, noting that reports suggesting flight disruptions are false.

The aviation regulator reaffirmed its commitment to keeping the public informed through official communication channels and urged passengers to rely only on verified updates from airlines and the Authority.
