Security agencies: Forces succeeded to foil Al-shabab planned attacks
The security agencies of federal government gave details of a car bomb attack in Mogadishu today.
The spokesman of security agencies Qasim Ahmed Robleh holding press conference in the capital said the government forces succeeded to foil the attacks before reaching its target.
He stated that a specified number of people including security official who stopped the car died during the attack.
The spokesman reiterated that intensive investigations are underway adding that they will report the exact number of casualties.
Similarly Benadir regional spokesman Ali Seeko said the forces are alert to foil the security threats of Al-shabab in the region.
He called the public to closely collaborate and provide valuable tip-offs to the security agencies so as to maintain overall security.
Al-shabab claimed the responsibility of the attack near the main entrance of Mogadishu airport, a spokesman for the group Abu Musab said the target was mercenaries
