Security agencies outwit explosions and assassinations in Mogadishu
The ministry for national security of federal government of Somalia announced that the security agencies have prevented explosions and planned assassinations in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia the last few days.
The spokesman of the ministry Mohamed Yussuf Osman told Goobjoog FM that the forces have arrested a number of Al-shabab members intending to carry out explosions and killings in Mogadishu.
He added that the forces also seized explosives and weapons hidden in some villages of the capital adding that thorough investigations are under way.
Finally the spokesman praised a mother who reported the case of her son, a member of Al-shabab after he has been away from her house for nine months.
He added that the ministry of national security has awarded the mother and is willing to award anyone who gives valuable reports to the security agencies.
