Security and Immigration ministers to appear before L. House today
Internal Security Minister Mohamed Duale Islow and his Immigration counterpart Mohamed Omaar are today appearing before parliament.
Sources within the Lower House said the two ministers will be expected to field questions from MPs regarding security issues in the country.
Some of the issues coming for discussion, sources said will be the circumstances surrounding the killing of former peace activist Almaas Elman. The peace activist was killed within the airport area when a bullet ripped through the vehicle she was in.
The House Security Committee had earlier summoned the two and immigration boss Mohamed Aden Jimale November 24 but resolved to have them appear before the whole House.
