Security forces block Mogadishu’s main roads, Banadir region

The Government forces Block main roads at the KM4 intersection in central Mogadishu Behind of president Farmajo’s demand over Banadir region alarming Issues.

The opening of parliament session on Sunday, President Mohamed Abdullah Farmajo requested both parliament houses to support the formation of the Banadir region before the general election.

Meanwhile, after the president addressed several issues, the lawmakers started blowing whistles claiming the President fail to implement his promises including one-person-one-vote during the last campaign.

Apart from the National Independent Election Commission (NIEC) one-person-one-vote election announcement, the 2021 election ahead seems unclear.

The EU has already filed disappointment over the delay to announce the election dates which was to be on May 27.
