Explosives-Laden Car Blows Up Near Army Base in Mogadishu, Casualties Reported

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Security forces in Mogadishu this morning foiled an attack at army base as a vehicle loaded with explosives attempted to breach the main entrance.

Sources said the forces blocked the entrance with a technical resulting in an explosion but the vehicle did not manage to enter the base.

An unconfirmed number of people were injured in the incident which happened along Omar Fiyasko areas in Kahda district in the outskirts of Mogadishu.
