Security sweeps in Bullo-Burde net scores
Federal government forces supported by African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM) have launched massive security operations in Bullo-Burde and its surrounding areas.
Major Mohamed Ibrahim Baakay, who is leading the soldiers conducting the operations said that the operations were intended to beef up the security of the town and as well as the whole district.
He added that the security of Bullo-Burde district is reliable and safety and that the government officials can stay the town without bodyguards.
“The forces apprehended 20 suspected AL-Shabab members and thorough investigation will be carried out as soon as possible” he underlined.
The government soldiers backed by AMISOM troops have been conducting security sweep to tighten the security of the town.
