Shabelle administration blames federal government for interfering their administration
The administration of Shabelle state has blamed the federal government of Somalia of interfering their state.
The vice president of Shabelle state Muhidin Hassan Afrah stated that the federal government has been plainly meddling with Shabelle state affairs since its formation.
He urged the federal government to stop interfering Shabelle administration and allow the state to determine the future of its people.
Mr. Muhidin said that Lower Shabelle region cannot join Bay and Bakol regions to form interim administration of South west Somalia as federal government announced earlier.
He also stated that the administration of Shabelle state has earlier rejected the technical committee comprising of 18 members nominated by the federal government of Somalia to form the interim administration as its unconstitutional.
