Shooting leaves two People Dead and Four others injured in Beledwene

Armed man killed two people and injured four others In Belewene town of Hiiran region on Monday afternoon. The motive of the murder is said to be a revenge.

A man armed with Ak47 opened fire indiscriminately to crowd of people in center of Beledwene. Two people pronounced dead on spot while 4 others were rushed to Beledwene Hospital.

Beledwne Hospital director Mohammed Khalif, said two of the four people got bullets on head and in a serious condition “Two of the four people suffer major injuries on the head and are in serious conditions” said, Mohmmed Yusuf.

The culprit managed to escape and authorities in Beledwene did not talk about the incident.

Just two days ago, two brothers were killed in Beledwene, on what locals said was revenge attack. Clan revenge attacks are frequented in Hiiran region.
