SNA and Allied Maawisley Militia Capture Several Villages in Middle Shabelle Region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MIDDLE SHABELLE: The Somali National Army alongside the allied Maawisley captured several villages in the Middle Shabelle region in a joint operation.

The allied forces captured Kiliga Mohamed Diirshe, Raas Qaboobe, Jameeco, Shanlow, Dhagaxoow, Yaaqle, Farbarako and Damiley villages along the Shabelle River.

According to military sources, several Al-Shabaab militants were killed in the operation while others were captured alive.

The operation is part of a major offensive against Al-Shabaab in Hiiraan region.
