SNA And AMISOM Advancing On Bardhere

 

 

 

Reports from Gedo region state that Military movement and tense of fighting between the forces of the Federal Government of Somalia backed AMISOM troops and Al-Shabab fighters rose at areas in Gedo region.

Eyewitnesses told Goobjoog News on Wednesday that Military exercises and reinforcements rose in areas under Bardhere town which is under full control of Al-Shabab.

Reports also highlight that Somali National Army commanders are reinforcing more troops to the soldiers stationed near Bardhere town as joint forces are advancing on the town.

One of the commanders of SNA who declined his name, said that the soldiers are well trained and equipped and they are heading to Bardhere and other Al-Shabab controlled areas.

The government soldiers were reportedly started military movements in many areas under lower Jubba.
Al-Shabab controls large swaths of Middle and lower Jubba regions and some parts Gedo region.
