SNA and AMISOM seize the control of Tyeglow district

Federal government forces getting support from the  African Union peace-keeping troops captured Tyeglow district in Bakol region.

Bakol region military commander Col. Abdirahman Mohamed Osman told Gob Jog FM that the joint forces seized the town without resistance from Al-shabab.

The commander added that the forces are conducting operations to maintain the overall security of the town and other areas withdrawn by al-shabab.

This is one of the last Al-shabab stronghold in the region, the joint forces in an earlier raid have taken over the control of other small towns like El-Garas locality in the outskirts on Tyeglow district.
