SNA Commander in Galgadud to Oversee Military Operations

GOOBJOOG NEWS | DUSMAREB:  The Somali National Army’s Land Forces Commander Brigadier General Dayah Abdulle Wednesday visited various frontline areas in Galgaduud region to assess the ongoing military operations against the Al-Shabaab militants.

During the visit the commander “assessed the operational effectiveness and the achievements of the National Army in their ongoing efforts to combat terrorist groups in the area.”

Brigadier Abdulle also met the troops operating in the area and commended them for their bravery and resilience in their fight to liberate the country from the militant group.

The commander also met with local community elders where he urged them to continue supporting the government’s efforts to secure the region by providing necessary information to security officers to aid their operations.

The visit by the Commander, the President army said, underscores the commitment of the Somali National Army to restore peace and stability in regions affected by insurgent activities.
