SNA officers participate in shooting range live firing training
The activity, which represents the consequent step forward after the theory and practical preparation of the SNA trainees
In its continuing series of training to build capacity, Somali National Army officers this past week participated in live fire exercises under the guidance of the EU Training Mission in Somalia.
EUTM-Somalia said in a statement the activity represents the ‘consequent step forward after the theory and practical preparation of the SNA trainees, took place under the direction of Trainers of the European Union Training Mission Somalia (EUTM-S) together with the personnel of African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).”
The Mission noted the officers drawn from the 1st Light Infantry Company trained by EUTM-Somalia instructors demonstrated ‘high level of dedication and commitment as well as mastery in weapon handling.”
