SNU to Offer Executive Master’s Program to Strengthen Healthcare Sector

GOOBJOOG MOGADISHU: Somali National University is set to offer an Executive Masters Programme to enhance service delivery in the health care sector.

This followed discussions between Somalia’s acting state minister for health, Dr. Maryama Mohamed Hussein, and the Italian ambassador to Somalia, Pier Mario Daccò Coppi,

Discussions centered around the implementation of a new joint initiative between the governments of Somalia and Italy aimed at strengthening the healthcare workforce across both federal and regional levels.

The initiative will establish a high-level educational program—an Executive Master’s Program—designed to train health professionals in key areas such as efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.

The program is part of broader efforts to build institutional capacity and enhance the performance of the health sector nationwide.
