Solar Powered Lights Installed In Hargeisa

The breakaway Somaliland administration started installing Solar-power lights in Hargeisa as improve security and allow business activities along the roads to boom during the night.

Ali Mohamed Ali Waran-Adde has officially cut ribbon of the illumination project street on Monday.
the minister stated the illumination project which is implementing by the government  will erect hundreds of solar lights along the roads of the town.

He called upon residents of the town to make use of lights and to take responsibility to handle them and guard them against any harm by criminal elements.

The projects to illuminate the streets have been going on in Somalia  for the past years and it has successfully installed solar-powered lights in Mogadishu, Adaado, Bossaso and many other towns.
