GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somalia’s army chief, Major General Ibrahim Mohamed Mahmoud has urged officers to maintain high levels of preparedness while supporting local communities during the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking at the morning meeting of the Somali National Army’s General Command, General Ibrahim emphasized the importance of troop readiness and assisting civilians with essential services during the fasting period.
He also called on officers to strengthen accountability and accelerate operational tasks, highlighting the need to enhance the quality and efficiency of the army’s work across all units.
