Somalia’s Cabinet Extends National Disability Agency Board Term
GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somalia’s cabinet Thursday approved the extension of the term for the National Disability Agency Board for an additional four years.
During its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barr the cabinet also approved the Inclusive Digital Policy and the National E-Governance Strategy aimed at advancing Somalia’s digital transformation and enhancing government efficiency.
The session included key updates on the country’s security situation, progress reports on Vice Prime Minister-led inspections of government ministries and agencies, and an overview of Somalia’s economic status.
The move reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening governance, inclusivity, and digital innovation while addressing the nation’s socio-economic priorities.
