Somali Cabinet Ministers Take Their Second meeting in Mogadishu
The newly approved Somali cabinet ministers took their second meeting in Mogadishu on Thursday.
The meeting which was chaired by the deputy Prime Minister, Mohamed Omar Arte was discussed on wide range issues including the process of handing over different ministries’ offices, Guri-El fighting and the killings of Somali aviation workers in Mogadishu.
The auditor general who attended today’s meeting, has read the documents and other information handed over the new ministers who took their office earlier, before the cabinet, as he explained in details what he witnessed during the handing over ceremonies which took place this week at different ministries’ headquarters in the capital city of Somalia.
The spokesman for Somali government, Ridwaan Hajji Abdiweli who spoke to the media after the meeting has said that ministers talked about the four Somali aviation officials killed at KM4, a place densely populated with Somali government soldiers.
“There are suspected apprehended for killing of the four officials, investigations are underway, so the government will display the result to the media immediately completed those probes” said the spokesman.
Speaking about Guri-El fighting the spokesman said Somali government put more efforts in the conciliation conference held for the warring sides as reach final agreement about their differences.
