In a statement issued on Friday, the SCAA described the reports as “misinformation” and reaffirmed that flights continue to operate without any restrictions.
“The Civil Aviation Authority assures the Somali public that there are no flight restrictions at Baardheere Airport, and flights are operating normally,” the statement read.
Although the SCAA did not specify the source or nature of the reports, it emphasized its commitment to transparency and maintaining the safety and efficiency of air travel across the country.
