Somali Federal Defence minister visits Kismayo to conclude reconciliation conference

The defense minister of the federal republic of Somalia Gen Addulkadir Sheikh Ali Dini with sernior politician from Gedo region  landed today the main city of Jubbaland state, Kismayo.

The minister and accompanying politicians are set to attend a reconciliation conference in Kismayo organized by Jubbland president. The conference is aimed to end 3years long tension between Jubbland state leadership and the residents of Gedo region.

Meanwhile at least three soldiers are reported to have sustained varying injuries when a bomb planted on tax collection checkpoint exploded.
