Somali Federal Parliament meets today in Villa Hargeisa.

Lower House MPs are to meet today in Villa Hargeisa, where they will be debating about the 2020-2021 elections.

Today’s gathering on the electoral process opposes the model of elections echoed in Dhuusamarreeb, where FMS heads met and disagreed FGS will hold one man one vote elections.

President Farmaajo and all regional presidents met last week in Dhuusamarreeb town to end the deadlock and negotiate ways to hold peaceful elections in the country. All had agreed to form a committee that decides the election model.
