Somali Fishermen Who Went Missing Off the Indian Ocean Found in Maldives

Three Somali fishermen who went missing in around April in the high seas while fishing have been found in Maldives.

According to Maldives police, the three fishermen were located on Saturday by the country’s coastguard.

The fishermen are reported to have gone missing after they started their mission around the Indian Ocean Coast in areas around Mogadishu.

Maldives police said the three were in good health.

The Maldives authorities added that they were in contact with their counterparts in Somalia to organise for the repatriation of the fishermen.
