Somali Football Federation official gunned down in Mogadishu
A Somalia Football Federation official has been shot dead outside a mosque in Warda Nabada district in Mogadishu.
Osman Jama Dirah who served as the head of Somali Football Federation referees committee was gunned down by unknown assailants as he left a mosque near a police station in Warda Nabada, a Federal official who did not want to be named for security reasons told Goobjoog News.
“Gunmen opened fire on the official killing him as he left the mosque. The circumstances of his death remain unclear,” the official said. Dirac also served as an executive member of the SFF Executive Committee and formerly as an international referee.
