Somali Foreign Minister meets with his Swedish counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the federal government of  Somalia, Mr Ahmed Isse Awad have yesterday met his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallström in Stockholm of Sweden.

The two officials have discussed to strengthen the relations between Somalia and Sweden and regional issues.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation and Ms Margot Wallström points out that Sweden will support the Somali government in advancing the political process, promoting social reconciliation and improving governance ability.

The two officials also stressed the continuation of multi-stakeholder exchanges between the two countries.
