Somali government announced to build anti-piracy force off the coast of Somalia

The Somali Ministry of Security announced that it plans to build an anti-piracy force off the coast of Somalia.

Deputy Minister of National Security Abdi Nassir Said that this plan of anti-piracy force is in good shape and the government is taking the responsibility to prevent the illegal shipping on the coastline of Somalia.

The minister noted that Somalia’s coast is exposed to foreign ships and illegal fishing.

“Our country has many defences if it is to be its own resources, and that it is  illegal foreign states to carry the boats of our  civilian in their coastline, we know the problems of the fishermen in today’s fisheries.”

The Somali coast is illegally dumping foreign ships and it is a challenge, who sometimes harm the boats and their equipment of the Somali fishermen.
