Somali Government Deploys More troops to Afgoye a day after Alshabab attack.
Somali Government has deployed tens of troops to Afgoye to reinforce defense line in the town. Alshabab still remains the surroundings of Afgoye after a day of major incursion, which they claimed to have killed 35 government soldiers.
Many armed vehicles and uniformed soldiers with painted military pick-ups were seen maneuvering inside Afgoye in early hours of Wednesday. Says Goobjoog reporters in Afogye.
Yesterday, Alshabab using suicide car bombing and hundreds of footed soldiers managed to overran most parts of Afogye briefly before they were rebelled back by Somali military and AMISOM forces.
At least one police captain, one military colonel, three Administrative civilian officers, and a more than ten Somali soldiers killed in yesterday attack at the town.
The situation remains calm but Alshabab still stays the surrounding villages of Afgoye.
