Somali Health Minister in Baghdad for Arab League Health Summit

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BAGHDAD: Federal government of Somalia’s Health and Social Services  minister Dr. Ali Haji Adan has arrived in Baghdad, Iraq for the 61st Session of the Council of Ministers of Health of the Arab League, where Somalia holds an active membership.

The high-profile meeting gathers health leaders from across the Arab world to discuss strategies, initiatives, and policies aimed at improving public health and tackling pressing challenges.

This year’s session offers a platform for Arab nations to address shared health concerns, ranging from disease prevention and health equity to enhancing cross-border cooperation in medical innovation and response to emergencies. 

Dr. Adan is expected to advocate for health development and engage in high-level discussions with health ministers from Arab League member states.
