Somali Immigration Officers Concludes Training Program in Egypt
GOOBJOOG NEWS | CAIRO: Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency officials have completed an intensive training program in Cairo, Egypt which focused on control, border protection, document examination, and the prevention of human trafficking.
The training program organized jointly by the governments of Egypt and Italy saw participation from immigration officials representing 17 African countries.
The Somali officials were equipped with advanced techniques for protecting borders, identifying counterfeit documents, and implementing measures to combat human trafficking.
Through the training, the agency aims to ensure the integrity and security of Somalia’s borders while providing efficient and secure services to the public.
The training underscores Somalia’s commitment to strengthening its immigration processes and collaborating with international partners to address global security challenges.
