Somali Interior Minister Calls on Ahlu-Sunna to Negotiating Table

Somali minister for interior and federalism, Abdirahman Mohamed Odawaa speaking to the local Media has called on Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a, the Somalia-based paramilitary group, Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a which consisting of moderate Sufis to open talks with Galmudug State.

He also urged Somali Islamist Group hlu-Sunna Waljama’a to come to the negotiating table as iron out the differences.

“We call upon Ahlu-sunna waljama’a to share the power with their brothers and negotiate with their brothers for the future these regions,” he said.

Meanwhile Ahlu-sunna has severally rejected the offer and characterized the Admistration as an agent that does not represent the interest of Central State people Administration

Last year the group publicized that it has nominated president for areas under its rule.
