Somali Ministry for National security warned of an imminent threat of attacks on densely populated areas by Al-Shabab.
The spokesman for the ministry, Mohamed Yussuf told reporters on Saturday that the security ministry had information of “imminent attacks” on locations frequented by public such as mosques, markets, learning institutions and hospitals.
He added that public should keep away from those areas and urged the public to tipoff the security forces anything which threat to the security.
Finally he excused any inconvenience caused by the ongoing operations carried out by the security forces in Mogadishu.
