Somali National Army Announces Vacancies for Recruits to Undergo Training Abroad

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: The Somali National Army has announced openings for new recruits to undergo training outside the country.

According to a public announcement, the Somali National Army (SNA) called on Somalis aged between 18 and 22 years to apply for the positions.

The applicants will also be required to have completed high school during the 2022-23 academic years and obtained a minimum of B+.

The certificates must be approved by the Ministry of Education and the trainees must also be physically and mentally fit.

Somalia has sent thousands of military trainees to Eritrea and Uganda in recent years as it strives to rebuild its military especially as it prepares to take over security responsibilities from the African Union forces.
