Somali parliament due to debate on national electoral and general audit bills
The federal parliament of Somalia is taking its normal session on Tuesday at the parliament building
Reliable reports confirm that the members will debate on rules of procedures earlier submitted to the house including general electoral and general audit bills.
Mohamed Omar, a member of federal parliament speaking to the media said that the draft bills will pass its third reading.
The speaker of the parliament Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari has earlier urged the parliament to pass these two bills within Tuesday’s meeting.
The overall security of the area around the parliament building was tightened by government forces, most of the roads leading to the parliament blocked.
