Somali Parliament Speaker Backs Palestinian Statehood at Arab Conference

GOOBJOOG NEWS | ALGIERS: Somalia’s Speaker of Parliament, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), reaffirmed the country’s support for Palestinian statehood during the second day of the Conference of Arab Parliament Speakers in Algiers.
In his address, Madoobe thanked Algerian Parliament Speaker and conference chair Ibrahim Boughali, as well as the Algerian government, for hosting the event.
He called for sincere efforts to resolve the Palestinian issue, endorsing the creation of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Madoobe also touched on the crisis in Sudan, urging respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs.
He concluded by stressing the importance of unity and enhanced cooperation among Arab parliaments to drive development and implement resolutions adopted at the conference.
