Somali president attends anti piracy conference in Dubai
The president of the republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamed headed to United Arab Emirates to attend conference on piracy that opens in Dubai.
High level delegates from over the world are expected to take part in the meeting meant to tackle the extensive threats of maritime piracy.
President Hassan will give a long speech at the conference focusing the effects of piracy to Horn of Africa particularly Somalia and his government’s plans to eradicate it so s to
Somalia foreign affairs Minister Abdirahman Duale Beilah taking separate meeting with some of the delegates of the conference noted that young people without purpose and legal alternative opportunities can be very dangerous and the international community to offer alternative livelihoods urgently.
At the end of the meeting the participants are expected to come up with common approach that will total to eradication of piracy.
