Somali president reaches Addis Ababa to attend IGAD heads of states summit
Today Somali president left the country for Ethiopia to attend the 28th Extra-Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of Inter-Governmental Authority on Development.
The prime minister of fedral government of Somalia Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed and the speaker of Somali Parliament have seen off president Hassan at Adan international airport.
The assistant Minister for foreign affairs ministry Mahad Mohamed Salat briefing the media at the airport said president Hassan Sheikh will attend one day conference of Heads of State and Government of Inter-Governmental Authority on Development that will focus on getting lasting solutions for the clashes in South Sudan.
President Hassan is expected to take meeting with the leaders attending the conference.
