GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Thursday received the credentials of eight newly appointed ambassadors in a ceremony held at Villa Somalia Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.

The arrival of these diplomats marks another step in Somalia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships. The new ambassadors include:

  2. Rowaid Adil Mohamed (Palestine)
  3. Morakot Janemathukorn (Thailand)
  4. Bernard Yohana Kibesse (Tanzania)
  5. Ana Filomena da Costa Rocha (Portugal)
  6. Martin K. Ngoga (Rwanda)
  7. Mahi Boumediene (Algeria)
  8. Matsuura Hiroshi (Japan)

During the ceremony, President Mohamud reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic, economic, developmental, and security cooperation with nations worldwide. He emphasized the importance of building strong international ties to foster mutual growth across various sectors.
