Somali prime minister praises UAE for supporting development projects

Prime Minister of Somalia, Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, has praised the UAE for supporting development projects in Mogadishu and other Somali regions.

He was speaking during a meeting with Ambassador of the UAE to Somalia, Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, at the UAE Embassy where they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of mutual concern.

The UAE ambassador thanked the Somali prime minister for his efforts in bolstering relations between the two countries, supporting the Emirati projects in Somalia and removing all barriers in the strong relations between the UAE and Somalia.

Later, the UAE ambassador hosted a luncheon at the Embassy in honour of the Somali prime minister.
