Army man kills civilian over land dispute in Jowhar

A government soldier killed a man and wounded a woman in Jowhar of Middle Shabelle region following a dispute between the deceased and the soldier.

The deceased whose name has not been released was gunned down by the soldier with AK47 and his daughter was also wounded.

Goobjoog News correspondent in Jowhar said were arguing over land ownership before the soldier opened fire killing the man.

Local authorities have not commented on the matter.
