Intelligence officer shot dead in Mogadishu
Suspected Al-Shabab militants armed with pistols killed the head of intelligence for Qoryoley town in the capital Mogadishu Saturday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as Dhayow Osman Aden was shot dead by gunmen in the vicinity of Hodan district. He was also a former Islamic Courts official in 2006 and later joined Somali national intelligence.
The assailant left the scene immediately after the attack
Security officials arrived at the scene where they launched an investigation on the incidents but shave yet to released any information.
