Somalia ambassador Abukar Osman elected Vice President of the UN General Assembly
Somalia diplomat, Abukar Osman elected as Vice President of the UN General Assembly on Monday.

Ambassador Abukar now becomes the 21 Vice Presidents for the 75th session of the UN General Assembly. The United Nations office in Somalia has lauded the new role by the Federal Government of Somalia at the United Nations General Assembly.
According to UN rules, the world’s most powerful nations and those with permanent seats on the Security Council do not run to be a president or vice president in the UN General Assembly.
