Somalia and Djibouti sign air and land transport deal
Djibouti and Somalia signed a co-operation agreement on air and land transport, according to the Djiboutian Information Agency.
The Djiboutian Agency said Wednesday the agreement allows the two governments to take advantage of the Djibouti and Somalia flights, which are based on international diplomatic practices in compliance with laws.
Somalia and Djibouti’s historical ties have brought together the two countries to benefit from it.
Djibouti agency quoted sources in Djibouti said that the agreement will lead to companies from both countries will be selected to activate the line loge flight Djibouti and Somalia in accordance with the implementation of the agreement is signed. The agreement was signed between Djibouti and Somalia last Monday, Djibouti’s Minister for Tourism and Transport Mohammed Abdoulkader Moussa Helem, and Somalia’s Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Abdillahi Salat.
