Somalia and Yemen Hold Diplomatic Talks on Regional Cooperation at Arab–India Ministers’ ConferenceDuring the Arab–India Ministers’ Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, held a diplomatic meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, Mustafa Ahmed Noman.
Abdisalam said the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on regional developments and global issues of shared interest to Somalia and Yemen.
For his part, Ambassador Noman noted that Yemen is ready to further strengthen bilateral relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries, underscoring the importance of regional collaboration and mutual support in political and economic spheres.
The discussions also covered security, trade, and avenues for enhancing cooperation among developing countries, with both sides agreeing to further strengthen diplomatic relations in the near future.
