Somalia Announces 2025 National High School Exam Results

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Learning on Sunday released the results of the 2024–2025 national secondary school examinations.
According to the ministry, a total of 38,471 students sat for the final exams this year. Of these, 32,714 successfully passed, while 5,757 did not meet the requirements.
The top candidate nationwide was Aisha Adan Ugas Hirsi, a graduate of SOS School in Banaadir region, who achieved an average score of 91.99%. Her performance placed her at the top of the country’s high school graduates for 2025.
Education officials congratulated the successful students, praising their dedication and hard work. They also encouraged those who did not pass to remain focused and prepare for future opportunities in education.
The ministry noted that this year’s results highlight the growing competitiveness among Somali high school students, many of whom aspire to be ranked among the country’s top performers in the years ahead.
