Somalia confirms two more Coronavirus cases

Somali Ministry of Health confirmed on Friday afternoon another two new Coronavirus cases in Somalia which one of foreign and one of Somali national.

According to a brief report posted on the Ministry of Health of the federal government reveals that almost 7 people in Somalia are infected with COVID 19.

Minister of Health, Fawzia Abikar Nur confirms in February 1st Coronavirus case in Somalia after a press conference held in the capital Mogadishu and called the public to be cautious and avoid public gatherings in the cause of Corona fight.

The government of Somalia on Tuesday 19 march 2020 announced $5 million budget to support the fight against coronavirus infection following $7 million aid package by the U.S. government.
